Obituary for Rebecca Carr Rebecca Jane Carr, 65, passed away after a long illness on April 25, 2018, in her home. She was born February 15, 1953, in Clarksburg WV, A daughter of Frank (Bugs) and Edith Burnett. She graduated from Shinnston High School, class of 1971.

Following graduation she work for the telephone company and served in the United States Air Force. She accomplished many things in her life time, including a bachelor in business management that she achieved while working full time and taking care of her family. Her biggest accomplishment in life was being a loving and caring mother, a supportive sister and daughter, and an unforgettable Nana.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Danny Lee Carr, married for 24 years, Frank A. Burnett (Bugs), father, Florence E. Burnett, mother, and Bruce W. Burnett, brother. She is survived by her two sisters Beverly Witzs and Elizabeth Fetty, her three daughters Emma Fox, Jesse Carr, and Destiny Holmes. She had 2 granddaughters, Joplyne and Ari, and 6 grandsons, Kade, Landon, Devan, Jaiden, Avery, and Raiden.

Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and Funeral Service at 1:00 Pm on Monday April 30, 2018 with Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
