Reta Onema Lubinski, age 90 of Perrysburg, passed away on November 2, 2018 at The Manor at Perrysburg. Onema, as she was called by family and friends, was born August 10, 1928 to William and Margie Deathridge in Arkansas. Her family left Arkansas and moved to California.

While in California, she met the love of her life, Bernard Lubinski, who was serving in the U.S. Navy. After they were married in San Francisco, they moved to Toledo (Bernard’s hometown) and raised five children. Onema enjoyed spending time with her family and special friend, Mary Dennis.

Onema is survived by her sons, Vincent (Mary) Lubinski, Thomas (Sue) Lubinski, Daniel (Kay) Lubinski, and Steven (Sandy) Lubinski; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sister, Duffy; son-in-law, Robert Heuerman; and sister-in-law, Jeanette Lubinski. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Janet Heuerman; grandson, Rob Heuerman; great grandson, Dylan Heuerman; sister, Juanita Goforth; sister-in-law, Teresa Lubinski; and brother-in-law, Richard Lubinski. Family and friends may visit on Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 12:30 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy.

Interment will be private. Memorial tributes may be directed to Heartland Hospice. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and aides at Manor for their kindness and excellent care for their Mother.
