Obituary Service Details Richard (Dick) Francis White, Jr., 84, of Waterbury, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018. He was born in Waterbury on February 1, 1934, the son of the late Richard F. White, Sr., and Anna Marion (Dowling) White. Richard graduated from Crosby High School in Waterbury, and proudly went on to earn a degree from Providence College in RI.

He was well-respected and well-liked, and was considered an extremely valuable employee and Friend. Dick White’s good looks, charismatic charm, and quick wit earned him many friends and fans within the community and beyond. He was fun, smart, and adventurous, and his love of people and life made him a pleasure to be around.

He was always on the go, often attending concerts at the Ridgefield Playhouse where he held a season pass, or off to visit the casinos that he enjoyed so much. Many times, he would accompany a group or invite friends to join him on these excursions, and if you were lucky enough to be one of his guests, you were guaranteed of having a great time and being caught up in his irresistibly infectious good sense of humor. It is with a Heavy Heart that we say goodbye to Richard.
