Richard E. Harris of Red Oak, Texas passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 01, 2018. Inurnment service will be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on Friday October 12, 2018 at 2:00PM. Richard was born December 03, 1934 in Milford, Massachusetts to John and Frances Harris.

He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Richard was a family man who loved horses and being outdoors. He enjoyed woodworking, repairing items around his house and spending time with his family and friends.

He will be remembered as a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend. Richard was preceded in death, by his parents. He is survived by his children, Vickie McCall, Rick Wilson, Star Beverlie and her husband, Bryant, Cheryl Sparkman, John Harris and his wife, Crystal and David Bellerose and his wife, Marsha; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Brian Harris and Norman Harris; sister, Edna Harris and numerous other family members and friends.
