Richard G. Matarese, 82, of West Warwick, previously of Johnston, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Briarcliffe Manor. He was the beloved husband of the late Anne (Russo) Matarese. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arcangelo and Assunta (Borrelli) Matarese.

Richard was the Chief Financial Officer for Reed & Barton Silversmiths in Taunton, MA. He earned a Masters of a Business Administration from Bryant College. He was an avid golfer who loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son Richard A. Matarese and his wife Ronda. He was the brother of the late Arthur Matarese. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt.

Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s memory may be made to Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation, 301 West Main St., Avon, CT 06001.
