Richard John Carithers, 62, of Lapeer, died Tuesday March 26, 2019. He was born January 4, 1957 in Dearborn to parents John and Audrey (Saukko) Carithers. Rich owned and operated RC Home Repair for many years.

But, his passions were playing drums, wood working, University of Michigan and watching football. Mr. Carithers was so excited to spend time with his new grandbaby, Addalyn. Rich is survived by his daughters: Jacquelyn (Eric) Lane of Columbiaville; Ashley (Robert) Stanton of Davison, granddaughter Addalyn, mother: Audrey Carithers, siblings: Becci (Pat) Montgomery; Rochelle (& Mike Holiday) Carithers; Ross Carithers and mother of his children: Dana Carithers.

He was preceded in death by his father: John Carithers. Mr. Carithers’ visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Monday April 1st at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. His funeral will be 2:00pm Tuesday April 2, 2019 at Muir’s officiated by Pastor Curtis Suuppi.

Cremation will follow services. Memorial contributions are encouraged in lieu of flowers, to the family: checks may be made to Jackie Lane.
