Obituary for Riley Michael Walsh Riley Michael Walsh, age 81, of Yuba City, passed away on September 4, 2018. He was born in Burlington, Iowa, on August 17, 1937, to Ralph and Blanche (Tallman) Walsh. Riley was an honest man that took pride in providing for his family and helping anyone that needed help.

A stranger he never met. Riley served in the Marine Corps from 1956 – 1962. He worked at Ford Motor Company in Milpitas, CA, in security for 22 years, and then went to California Department of Corrections, where he worked as a Correctional Officer.

He was highly respected and trusted by all, and was known as “Gentleman Riley”. Riley is survived by his loving wife, Bette Walsh, of Yuba City. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Blanche Walsh; as well as his son, Riley Michael Walsh, Jr. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, in Dixon.
