Robert “Bob”‘s Obituary Robert E. “Bob” Spitzer, 71, of Harrisonburg passed away on May 16 at home. He was born March 4, 1948 in Washington DC and was the son of the late Elmer Leonard and Angela Onza Spitzer. Bob was a painter by trade.

He served in the U. S. Army from 1968-1970 and was honorably discharged. He was known for his love of auctions and collecting. He was also an avid reader and loved collecting books.

He is survived by his Daughter Nicole Spitzer of Apopka Florida, five Grandchildren, Leticia, Esperanza, Omar JR. , Yaretzi, and Yareli and two Great Grandchildren Gabriella and Junior in addition to his Brother Pete Spitzer and Wife Peggy of Virginia Beach Va. , Sister Silvana Spitzer of Weyers Cave, Va.

Three nephews Pete Spitzer Jr., Hunter A. Spitzer , and Hayden A. Spitzer all of Virginia Beach, Va. Extended Family include Eddie Black and Family and Jack Bowman Family. A memorial service is planned for June 22, 2019.
