Robert “Bob” E. Mumford, Jr., 71, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Robert E. Mumford Sr. and Theresa Pescha. He served with the US Navy from 1966-1970 and was assigned to the USS Noxubee (AOG-56).

While off the coast of Vietnam, the Noxubee was attacked and subsequently received the Meritorious Unit Commendation. Bob was the companion of Roxann Barr of Elizabethtown, PA. He is survived by his two daughters, Anna Royer and sons of Huntingtown, MD and Michele Morgan and family of Orange, TX.

He is also survived by two cousins, Walter Everly of Media, PA and Joann Cox of Laurel Springs, NJ. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
