Robert’s Obituary Robert S. Looney, 57, of Underwood, IN, passed away at 4:55 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN. Born June 20, 1961 in Scottsburg, IN, he was the son of William Looney and Bonnie (Brown) Looney, who both passed away in 1999. Robert was in the Henryville Class of 1979 and a master carpenter and an excellent finish carpenter.

He owned and operated Looney’s Construction along with his brother, Charles. He was a member of First Church of God in Henryville. He was a free spirit, caring, giving, and carefree person who enjoyed being with his friends and loved his family.

Survivors include, 6 sisters, Linda K. Browder of Underwood, IN, Gloria (John) Leach of Jeffersonville, IN, Janet Looney of Scottsburg, IN, Paula Dreyer of Underwood, IN, Debbie Jo Kleehammer of Underwood, IN, and Staci (Jeff) Montgomery of Underwood, IN, numerous nieces and nephews, and was blessed with many friends. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Lee Looney on December 1, 2016 and his companion of 30 years, Patricia Jean Phipps on July 7, 2011. Pastor Leon Armstrong will conduct funeral services: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville, with cremation to follow funeral services.

Visitation: 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Henryville and after 9:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses c/o Adams Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 209 S. Ferguson St., Henryville, IN 47126.
