Roderick Eugene Weaks, 52, of Easy Street, Concord, NC, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018, at his residence. He was born, February 5, 1966 in Cabarrus County to the late R.C. Alexander and Patricia Weaks. Roderick was educated in the Cabarrus County School Systems and was a 1984 graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School.

He and was formerly employed as a brick mason. Services will be held Monday, July 23 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, 923 Indiana Street, Kannapolis, NC. Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 PM, with funeral services at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Rutherford Memorial Park, Concord, NC.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sedeara Weaks and a brother, Avery Weaks. Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife, Morenika Caldwell Weaks of the home; two grandchildren, Jayden Caldwell and Khloe Caldwell both of Concord; his mother, Patricia Weaks of Concord; three brothers, Nathan Weaks (Sherry), Brandon Weaks (Cheryl) and Marshal Weaks all of Concord; two sisters, Cheryl Weaks and Tara Weaks both of Concord; one step-son, Aaron Caldwell (Rebecca) of Concord, one step-daughter, Candace Katsanos (Rev. Stefan) of Concord and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
