Obituary for Rodolfo Santos Rodolfo Santos, age 49, passed away in Marshall, Texas on May 1, 2018. He was born on October 30, 1968 in Los Angeles, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.

He is survived by his soul mate and the love of his life, Bridget Paredes; his children, Raul, Christopher, Vivianna, Lindsey, Christina and her husband, Robby; his grandchildren, Kameryn, Paisley and Bentleigh; his brothers, Bob and Arnold; his sister, Sandra; his best friends, Steve and Shelia Evans and many, many friends who knew and loved him. Affectionately known as “RuRu” or “Rudy”, he had an infectious smile and a great personality that always made people laugh. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand to those who had a need, no matter the need.

He had a heart of gold that radiated sunshine wherever he went. Rudy worked many years as a dispatcher for Lloyd’s Wrecker, Hammet Wrecker and was currently working for Nolan’s Wrecker Service. He worked just like he lived, with total dedication to those he held dear.

There are those people in this world who ask so very little and add so very much. Whose presence is always noticed and absence is always felt. Who quickly become a brother and always remain a friend.

When such a person leaves us, they take a piece of our heart with them, but give back to fill that empty spot, all the memories, the laughter, the smiles, the stories, the fun, the experiences and countless ways they enriched and changed our lives. Rodolfo “RuRu” “Rudy” Santos was such a person. What a man.
