Obituary for Sandra Honoria Weaver Beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, Sandra Honoria (Wood) Weaver, age 78, passed away in Longview, Texas on June 26, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born in Marshall, Texas on March 6, 1940 to Ira and Bernice (King) Wood. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Bernice Wood; her siblings, Bickham Wood, Dorothy “GaGa” Wood, Catherine “CaCa” Parker, Barbara Wood, Jamie Morris, Billie Crenshaw; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Glen and Gladys Weaver; her brothers-in-law, Joe Weaver and David Weaver; and her sister-in-law, Donna Weaver.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 56 years, William T. Weaver, Sr.; her children, whom she adored, William T. “Tommy” Weaver, Jr. (Vera), Donna Weaver, Sherry Weaver, Sandy Weaver, Steven Weaver (Keri Evans Holder); grandchildren, Jason Weaver (Marie), Chris Weaver, Dusty Weaver (Emily), Brooke Weaver, Blake Weaver and Sara Weaver; and great-grandsons, Zachary and Easton. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Rebecca “Becky” Weaver and Mary Weaver; her brothers-in-law, Benny Weaver and James Weaver (Bonnie); several nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends who were blessed by her love and friendship. Sandra attended River Crossing Cowboy Church and loved her Lord and her church family deeply.
She loved camping, fishing, and cooking but her true passion was her grandchildren and their ball games, dance events and cheer competitions. Sandra was well loved and she will be missed deeply. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Meadowbrook Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, Friday, June 29, 2018 at Meadowbrook Funeral Home with Bro. Pete Sellers and Bro. Craig Evers officiating.
Interment will follow at Nesbitt Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Weaver, Chris Weaver, Dusty Weaver, Blake Weaver, David Weaver, Brody West, Mitch Augustine and Trevor Clark. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zachary Weaver and Easton Weaver.
