Obituary for Patricia “Pat” Marie (Adkins) Cobb Beloved wife, devoted mother and cherished grandmother, Patricia Marie “Pat” (Adkins) Cobb, age 55, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in Deberry, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born in Houma, LA on April 1, 1963 to Johnny Ray Adkins, Sr. and Mary Goldie Martin. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Clarence Melton Cobb; her daughter, whom she adored, Sonya Griffin and her husband, John; her step-children, Shawn “Pete” Cobb and his wife, Christina, Travis Cobb, Wade Cobb and Lisa Baker; her grandchildren, Sadie Cobb, J.C. Cobb, Joshua Baker, Mallori Cobb, Annabelle Griffin, Brodix Griffin, Shane Black, Justin Parker, Danielle Strunk, Brittany McClure, Mark Cobb; her sisters, Sandra Miller and Paula Harris; her brothers, Franklin Joseph “Joe” Martin and Carlton Martin along with several nieces, nephews and many friends who knew and loved her.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Ray Adkins, Sr. and Mary Goldie Martin; her son, Jack Christopher Cobb, Sr.; her granddaughter, Gracie Mae Cobb and her brother, John Adkins, Jr. Pat was one of the most caring, unselfish ladies ever known who always did for others before herself. She loved to cook and was the best neighborhood mom who always provided meals to any who may show up at dinnertime. Her true passion in life was her family, her children and their friends.

She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who were blessed by her friendship and love. A Celebration of Life for Pat will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 601 Highway 80, Haughton, LA on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00am with Daniel Nelson officiating.
