Obituary for Nina Ferrier Perkins Nina Ferrier Perkins passed away Monday, November 26, 2018. Nina was born January 16, 1940 in Electra, Texas to David M. Ferrier and Rosa Ferrier. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Frank Ferrier.

Nina is survived by her husband, Joe Perkins; son, Alex Perkins and his wife Lesley, along with their precious girls Paisley and Reilly, of which Nina adored. Nina is also survived by her brother, Douglas M. Ferrier and wife Marie; nephew, Thomas Ferrier and her niece, Katie Ferrier Gage, and husband Brian and daughter, Dottie. Nina will also be very missed by her canine companions Beaux and Robbie.

Nina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her granddaughters, Paisley and Reilly, were her greatest joy. Nina was gifted in music, song, cooking and was a Master Gardener.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Nina’s devoted companions, RaeLyn Angel Heath, Suzy George and her lifelong friend, Tanya Cooper. Interment will be at Algoma Cemetery Marshall, Texas in a private service. Nina gave food, shelter and loving homes to countless homeless animals.
