Obituary for Kathy Elizabeth McQueen Cherished wife, loving mother, devoted grandmother and beloved sister, Kathy Elizabeth McQueen, age 61, passed away on November 4, 2018 in Marshall, Texas. Kathy was born in Marshall, Texas on August 7, 1957 to Howard and Maurine Hopkins. She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Hopkins; her sister, Debbie McKinnon; brother-in-law, Ty McKinnon and nephew, Blair Binotti.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dennis Wayne McQueen; daughters, Melinda Kay McQueen and Shelly Renee McQueen; grandchildren, Kylee Renee Thedford, Carlee Kay Thedford and Randy Scott Coulter; mother, Maurine Hopkins; sisters, Pam Rockwell (her husband, Eddie) and Susan Hale; brother, Philip Hopkins (his wife, Beth) and numerous other special family members. Kathy was a stay at home mother, caring for Melinda for 39 years. She loved Elvis, watching old western movies, but especially loved time spent with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Kathy’s memory be made to Crossroads Methodist Church or Shriners Hospitals for Children in Shreveport.
