Roger Ingram Moore, 49, died Friday, April 20, 2018, at his residence. Roger was born on November 10, 1968, in Florence County, son of Joyce Belk Moore and the late Samuel Ashby Moore. Surviving are his sons, Ashby Ingram Moore and Samuel Matvei Moore, both of Florence; Leah Hancock Moore of Florence, the mother of his children; his mother, Joyce Belk Moore of Florence; sister, Susan Moore (Wade) Harper of Georgetown; a number of nieces and nephews; and those he considered to be his family, Kelly Hancock III and William King.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Ashby Moore; brothers, William (Billy) LeRoy Moore and Gregory Samuel Moore. A private service will be held at St. John’s Church at 2:00 PM on April 25, 2018 for family and friends. A drop-in celebration of his life will be held afterwards from 3PM until 6PM at the home of Francis and William King.
