Ronald D. Hanzlik, 75, of South Buffalo Township, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018, peacefully, at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. Ron was born in Natrona Heights on March 13, 1943, a son of the late Helen (Frank) and James Hanzlik. He was the widower of Linda S. (Brown) Hanzlik who passed in 2014 Ron had worked for over 30 years at Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Brackenridge.

Ron enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and also loved to play guitar. Ronald is survived by his daughter, Deborah “Deb” Anderson, of South Buffalo Township. His brother and sister in law, James “Jim” & Ruth Hanzlik of Natrona Heights.

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and his wife, he is preceded by his brother Robert Hanzlik and his sister, Frances Crytzer. Family and friends will be received on on Monday, June 18th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc., 524 High St. in Freeport, PA.

Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 19, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice in Ron’s memory.
