Ronald Eugene Redman July 19, 1947 – January 8, 2019 Ronald Eugene Redman went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 8, 2019. He was born July 19, 1947 to Gertrude Louise Redman and Charles W. Redman in Covington, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents; father Charles W. Redman and mother Gertrude Louise Redman, his brothers; Gerald and William (Uncle Bill) Redman and his sister, Isabell.

During his time of employment he worked for overhead door for many years and various roofing companies and most recently he worked in the kitchen at the Rescue Mission. Ronnie was well known in the Southeast Roanoke area by many if you were ever riding through the Southeast Roanoke area nine times out of ten you would see Big Ronnie walking. Ronnie was a loving father to his children and always was the best dad He could be to them.

He is known for his smile and his awesome personality. We will always love you big Ronnie (Dad) and we are going to miss you so much. Those left to share his memory include his children, Ronnie, C.W. Timmy Allen, Myieshia, Brooklyn and Cameron, his granddaughters; Charisma, Kyleigh, Lovissa, Lily, Devin, Chelsea, Legion and Amirah, grandsons; Jeremy, David, Nathan, Set and Devin.
