Roy Lee Rutherford, 61, of Bristol, TN passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bristol, TN on August 14, 1957, a son of the late Ben and Mildred Gentry Rutherford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, B.J. Rutherford.

He had attended Wyatt Hollow Church and loved watching TV, fishing, and being outdoors. Roy is survived by his four sisters, Joy Quales and husband Ron, Judy Shuttle, Ruby Wyatt, and Dottie Sieck; two brothers, Troy Lynn Rutherford and Coy Lee Rutherford; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to Kayla in ICU 3 at Bristol Regional Medical Center for all the love and care shown to Roy during his illness.

A Graveside Service and Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Gentry Cemetery, Shady Valley, TN with Pastor Gary Rowlette officiating. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Roy Lee Rutherford please visit our Sympathy Store.
