Ruby Diane Burns 20 September 1957 – 9 February 2019 Ruby Diane Burns of Atlanta, TX, born September 20, 1957, to Mr Bobby Kidd and Ms Ruby M Burns Williams, passed from this life at Christus St Michaels Medical Plaza in Atlanta, TX, Sunday, February 2, 2019. She was 61 years old. Ruby is preceded in death by her father Bobby Kidd and brother Everett Williams.

She is survived by her mother Ruby Mearle (Burns) Williams and husband Linnoise of Tyler TX; daughters Deeit LaShawn Burns of Tyler TX, and Rachemia Karshata Burns and husband Darryl Lee of Mesquite TX; brothers Vance Burns of Dallas TX, Larry Burns of Tyler TX, and Rodney Williams and wife Angela of Tyler TX; sisters Glenda Denice Rogers of Atlanta TX, Anita Renea Clay and husband Robert of Atlanta TX, and Valissia Richard of Dallas TX, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild on the way; a very special aunt Mary Daniels; and special friend Mamie Seldon (Aunt/Mother) of Atlanta TX. Ruby Diane Burns was a loving mother, sister, cousin, and aunt. She loved everyone around her.

Ruby’s services will be under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. She will lie in repose Friday, February 15, 2019, at Queen City Funeral Home, beginning at 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Funeral services will be held the following afternoon at Enon Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. A. C. Williams presiding.
