Ruth G. Rawley, 76, of Urbana died on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton. In accordance with her wishes, Ruth will be cremated. No services will be held at this time.

Ruth was born on December 4, 1941 in Urbana, a daughter of Louis and Irma (Edelman) Heintz. She married Richard Rawley and together they had 5 sons. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Richard just 3 months ago (Feb.

16, 2018), and by 2 of their sons, Timmy and Troy. Also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Heintz and a step-brother, Lonnie Warren. She is survived by 3 sons, Brian (Kathy) Rawley of St. Joseph, Louis Rawley of Philo and Travis Rawley of Urbana; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and her sister, Mary (Fred) Trevarthan of Newman.

Ruth worked as a cashier at Farm and Fleet for over 15 years. She also volunteered her time as an Election Judge and as a crossing guard for Champaign schools. She was a very special mother that loved to take care of ‘her boys’.

She was a hard worker with a giving and kind nature. Ruth was always willing to help others and will be greatly missed by all.
