Obituary of Sandra Schoonmaker Sandra L. Schoonmaker Cuddebackville, NY Formerly of E. Stroudsburg, PA Sandra L. Schoonmaker of Cuddebackville, NY, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at Bon Secours Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 59. She was born August 5, 1959 in E. Stroudsburg, PA the daughter of the late Norman Van Horn and Vaneto Henry Van Horn.

Sandy had a larger than life personality and has touched so many lives. She was known as the Queen of Oakland Valley Campground. A longtime member of the Moose Lodge and her and her husband, Walt, were lifelong motorcycle enthusiasts with the Griffin Association.

Sandy was “Mom”, “Grandma”, and “Sister” to everyone. Surviving are: Her mother, Vaneto Van Horn Her loving husband of 36 years Walter I. Schoonmaker Sr. 5 Children Jody Pham Casey Van Horn Walter I. Schoonmaker, Jr. and his wife Dusty Sage Cheryl Schoonmaker Shafer and her husband Scott Adam Schoonmaker and his wife Lisa Siblings: Wanda Van Horn Jennifer Van Horn Judy Harding and her husband Carlos Phyllis Van Horn and her husband William David Van Horn and his wife Betty Leon Van Horn and his wife Lorie Gale Jennings Van Horn Pam, Roy, Kevin, Terri and Ted 12 Grandchildren: Elijah, Keyana, Alexis, Gracie, Kalynn, Gavin, Caleb, Olivia, Allison, Emma, William and Nicholas. Also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sister, Sheila Jane Klein; and her brothers, Earl and Wayne Van Horn. There will be no visitation. A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at the Oakland Valley Campground on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2pm.

Cremation will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA. Funeral arrangements are by the GRAY-PARKER FUNERAL HOME, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis. For additional information or to send a condolence note to the family please visit www.
