Obituary for Scott A. Voglesong Scott Voglesong, 66, of New Britain, CT passed away on Wednesday, (October 24, 2018). Born in Fort Knox, KY, he was the son of the late Dr. Ronald Voglesong and Shirley Backus. Scott was a graduate of UCONN, and spent his career working as a reinsurance broker in Hartford and New York City.

In addition to his love for his family, Scott loved camping in Disney World, Dunkin Donuts and going to the movies. Scott’s family and friends will always remember his warm heart and lively personality. Scott is survived by his wife Jan Fontana, daughter Beth Forman and her husband Jeff, son John Voglesong and wife Kaitlin, brother Brad Voglesong and wife Lisa and 4 grandchildren (Max , Emma , George and Grace ).

Scott was predeceased by his brother Matthew and sisters Amy and Dee. Calling hours are Saturday afternoon from 1 to 3 PM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
