Obituary for SFC Kenneth Allen Crittendon SFC Kenneth Allen Crittendon, husband of Flora Sue Franks Crittendon, of 125 Laverne Lane, Walhalla, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital. A native of Hart County, GA, Mr. Crittendon was the son of the late Loyd Harper and Rebecca Estelle Vaughn Crittendon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving for twenty years where he was appointed SFC E7.

Kenneth always had a positive outlook on life and loved telling clean, corny jokes and making people laugh. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and he loved his church family dearly. He was a member of Clearmont Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by his son: Brian Crittendon (Nancy) of Walhalla; sisters: Shirley Chapman of Seneca and Rosalie Bailey of Oakway; grandchildren: Leigh Billingsley (Wesley) of Clayton, GA and Amy Crittendon of Clemson; great-granddaughter: Ivy Billingsley; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers: Elwood Crittendon, Wendell Crittendon, Garnet Crittendon and one infant brother; and sisters: Julia Algood and Joann Morgan. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, January 7, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted. The family is at the home.
