Wendell “Wayne” Edmondson, 71, husband of Mitzi Ann Duncan Edmondson, of Seneca, SC, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at GHS Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Anniston, AL, Mr. Edmondson was the son of the late Hattie Mae Edmondson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army ranking as a sergeant.

Mr. Edmondson served during the Vietnam War and earned two Purple Hearts. He was a member of the SC Realtor Association, Disabled Veteran’s Association and volunteered at Ripple of One. Mr. Edmondson was a member of Crosspoint Church in Clemson, SC.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Edmondson is survived by a son: DeWayne Edmondson and wife Dacia of Cumming, GA; daughter: Kelli Edmondson Zubler and husband Dale of Hoschton, GA; and grandchildren: Devyn Zubler, Austyn Zubler, Kaitlyn Edmondson and Owen Edmondson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Crosspoint Church, Clemson, SC. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM, Saturday, prior to the service, at Crosspoint Church.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Highway NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 with reception to follow at First Baptist Church of Sandy Springs, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Generation Link, c/o Crosspoint Church, 1019 Tiger Blvd. , Clemson, SC 29631 or to Ripple of One, 115 W. S. 1st Street, Seneca, SC 29678.
