Sheryl Carder March 9, 1946 – May 27, 2019 Sheryl Carder, 73, Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana with Pastor Mark Reshan officiating. Private family burial will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three Oaks, Michigan.

Visitation hours will be Saturday from 9:00 am till the time of service in the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. She was born March 9, 1946 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Willard and Wilma (Levine) Messman. On March 26, 1966 in Michigan City, Indiana she married Reuben Carder, Sr.who preceded her in death on October 28, 2005.

Surviving are two sons, Dennis (Rhonda) Wilson of Rolling Prairie, Indiana and Reuben (Sheila) Carder Jr. of South Bend, Indiana; three daughters, Christal (Noah) Hollingsworth of Buchanan, Michigan, Laura Carder of Indianapolis, Indiana and Tammy Carder of LaPorte, Indiana; 14 grandchildren along with several great-grandchildren also survive. She was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Carder along with two brothers, Robert Livings and David Livings. Sheryl retired after 44 years as a Assembler at Sprague Devices, Michigan City, Indiana.

She was a huge Elvis Presley fan. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Sheryl Carder.
