Obituary for Shirley Isabelle Felder (Koester) Shirley Isabelle Felder, age 86, a longtime Brighton resident passed away Wednesday morning, November 7, 2018 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on December 25, 1931 in Detroit the daughter of Louis and Romelda Christine (Hertz) Koester. On July 21, 1951 she married Laurice “Larry” Felder in Detroit.
Mr. Felder preceded her in death on January 2, 2009. Surviving are her children: Kathie (John) Lietzau, Debbie (Bob) Felder-Smith, David (Kim) Felder and Sandi (Ed) Schaffier; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 2 brothers: Robert and Edward (Mary) Koester. She was also preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Goins.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Brighton. The family will receive friends Friday, November 9, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
