Shirley J. Bumpus Shirley J. Bumpus, age 86, passed away November 17, 2018 at Hospice of NW Ohio, Toledo. She was born in Toledo on May 21, 1932 to Algia and Bobbie Boxley. Shirley retired from NWODC and was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church.

Surviving are her children, Jimmy Bumpus, Jr., Ivy Hopkins and Shirley J. Bumpus; brother Donald Boxley; granddaughter Breeanna J. Bumpus and grandsons Ivan R. Bumpus III and Michael S. Bumpus and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Bumpus, Sr.; sons Eugene Bumpus and Ivan Bumpus; sisters, Geneva Spencer and Robert Hamilton; grandson Ivan R. Bumpus and granddaughter Helen Rutherford. The wake will be on Tuesday November 27 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Thos.

I. Wisniewski Funeral Home 2426 North Reynolds Rd. Toledo, Ohio. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Wednesday November 28 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church 1119 West Bancroft St. Toledo, OH.

43606, where the family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to the church.
