Obituary for Shirley June Williams Funeral services for Shirley June Williams, age 83 of Lindale, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, TX with pastor Ryan Surratt officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado, TX under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, TX. Shirley passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 in Tyler, TX.

She was born August 3, 1934 in Florine, Louisiana to the late Moses Devester and Vivian Estell (Holt) Royal. Shirley moved to Lindale 18 years ago from Alvarado, TX. She was a retired beautician and was a member of the Damascus Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Garlan Martin Pettigrew in 1981 and many other loving relatives. She is survived by her husband Jerry Dan Williams of Lindale, TX; sons, Scooter McLendon and wife Jennifer of Brandon, MS, Ricky McLendon and wife Marilyn of Madisonville, TN, Dess Pettigrew and wife, Ursula of Ft. Worth, TX, Timmons Pettigrew III and wife, Lisa of Ft.

Worth, TX, and Mark Martin and wife Sheri of Ft. Worth, TX; daughters, Leetha Sain and husband Todd of Cleburne, TX, and Deborah Prather and husband, Buddy of Lindale, TX; 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers will include Dess Pettigrew, Timmons Pettigrew III, Timmons Pettigrew IV, Clinton Prather, Cole Prather, and Buddy Prather.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ricky McLendon and Scooter McLendon. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, TX.
