82, of Johnston, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018, at home. She was the beloved wife of sixty-three years to Walter E. Beauné. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Florence (Moretti) Ritorno.

Shirley was an office manager for Market Merchandisers for thirty-five years. She also was the office manager and co-owner of United Display for fifteen years and was a receptionist for the Academy for Little Children for seven years. She was a communicant of St. Rocco Church and a member of the Parent Teacher Guild (PTG), Member and Past President of the Johnston Historical Society, and Past President of United Commercial Travelers.

Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Walter E. Beaune and his partner Harold Nixon of Providence, Charlotte L. Moretti and her husband James of North Kingstown, and Jennifer Beauné Roe and her husband Mark of San Francisco, CA. She was the cherished grandmother of Amanda Marcello, Elizabeth Moretti, Avery Roe, James Moretti, and Nicole Moretti. Shirley was the sister of the late Carl Ritorno.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday morning 9:00-10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to: Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
