Obituary for SMSGT Thomas J. Musolf USAF (ret) SMSGT Thomas J. Musolf, 83 USAF (ret), 83 of Ladson, husband of the late Catherine Musolf, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at his residence. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A Graveside service will follow at 2 o’clock Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Rd.

, Summerville, SC 29485. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Theresa Building Fund, 11001 Dorchester Rd. , Summerville, SC 29485.

Thomas was born in Duluth, Minnesota, son of the late Rose and Donald Musolf. He was a graduate of Denfeld High School in Duluth, Minnesota. He then joined the United States Air Force.

He received the Merit of Service Medal, Bronze Star and Commendation Medal. He was a member of the American Legion, Old Fort Masonic Lodge #420, National Sojourners Charleston #28, Scottish Rite Disabled A.V., VFW and Heroes of 76. Survivors include: four sons: Michael Musolf of Summerville, David Musolf (Amy) of Summerville, Brian Musolf of Summerville and Steven Musolf (Teryi) of Greenville; grandson: Collin Musolf; three brothers: Walter Musolf (Joan) of St. Paul, MN, Jerry Musolf (Pat) of Harlingen, TX and Bobby Musolf (Dottie) of Portland, OR.
