Barbara Jean Galarneau, 84, of Summerville, widow of Frank C. Galarneau, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning September 5, 2018 at 11 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be held in Hill Crest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach, Florida at a later date.

Memorials may be made to V.F.W. Post #3433, 10154 Bellwright Road, Summerville, SC 29483. Barbara was born on February 3, 1934, a daughter of the late Robert Miller and Katherine Fink Miller. Barbara was a life time member of the V.F.W. Post 3433, Summerville and Barbara took great pride as author of the Crestview Park’s Newsletter.

Barbara is survived by her brother Donald Miller of Boynton, FL; brother-in-law Arnold Galarneau (Marilyn) of Cohoes, NY; nephews Edward Galarneau (Dianne) of Niskayuna, NY, Robert Galarneau of Cohoes, NY, and James Galarneau (Jayne) of Cohoes, NY; several nieces and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by her husband Frank C. Galarneau; parents Robert Miller and Katherine Fink Miller; sister Rowina Johnson (Donald). The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Roper Hospice, St. Francis and dear friends Karen Hills and Diane Gillette.
