Obituary for Soni Lee Summers Soni Lee Summers, 64, of McElhattan passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at her home. Born on August 3, 1953 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late George and Roberta Warner Peasley. Soni belonged to the Lock Haven High School Class of ’72.

She was employed by Woolrich for many years and currently worked at Puff ‘n’ Snuff in Dunnstown, which she truly enjoyed. The most important part of Soni’s life was her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Surviving are three children: Rick Jerles of McElhattan, Julie (Robert) Nicodemus of Loganton and William Jerles of New Jersey; five siblings: Marlene (Jeff) Snyder of Mill Hall, Georgia Gunsallus of California, Becky (Dan) Campbell of Lock Haven, Willy Peasley of Mill Hall and Patty (Doug) Shoemaker of Salladasburg; and six grandchildren: Justin, Robby, Kori, Trevor, Dawson and Olivia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Jerles in 1990 and her second husband, Kim Summers in 2008 as well as by a granddaughter, Katie Nicodemus. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 8 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 P.M. until the time of the service.
