Stephen’s Obituary Stephen C. Pearson December 8, 1946 to May 16, 2019 Steve was born in McPherson, Kansas to Mae L. Pearson and John T. Pearson. As a child, Jack and Mae moved with Steve to Lakewood, Colorado where he attended school, built life-long friendships, and developed his initial love for golf. Following high school, Steve enlisted in the United States Air Force.

While stationed in Tucson, Arizona, he met his wife, Linda Sehstedt and they married in December 1967. After serving seven years of active duty and traveling throughout Mississippi, Thailand, Japan, and Maine, he was honorably discharged as a ranking staff sergeant. He then worked in the private sector as an aerospace engineer and moved with his family between Colorado, Arizona, and Southern California during the rest of his working years.

He retired in Tempe, Arizona in 2008 to devote time to family, traveling, golfing, fishing and doting over with his beloved dogs. Steve is survived by his wife Linda, children Bryan and Valerie, and two grandchildren. The family will be holding a private celebration of life service in June 2019 in Sun Lakes, Arizona.
