Obituary for Stephen Myers Stephen passed away on Friday, August 31. He was born on December 26, 1979 in Midland, Michigan to Linda and Sam Myers. Stephen grew up in Ann Arbor, and then moved to Detroit, where he lived and worked for the past eighteen years.

He is survived by his parents, Sam and Linda; his siblings, Joseph, Jennifer, and William; his sister-in-law, Jessica; and his nephews, Judah and Julian. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Texa Myers and Joanne Carpenter; his aunt, Debby Skokut and her children John and Marta; and his uncle, Gary Carpenter and wife Pam and their children Julie and Kevin. Stephen’s warm, embracing personality touched many people, not only his family and friends, but also those with whom he worked, and even casual acquaintances.

He had a contagious smile and the ability to strike up a conversation with almost anyone. His generosity and diligence were evident in his willingness to help family members and friends no matter how arduous the task. His fierce loyalty and big, warm hugs will be so very missed.
