Stephen Michael Radcliff, 70 of Williamstown, suddenly passed away July 8, 2018 in Sylva, NC. He was born December 25, 1947 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Cree and Bina (Godfrey) Radcliff. Mr. Radcliff retired with 20 years of service in the U. S. Air Force where he achieved the rank of Tech Sargent.

He then retired from the Bureau of Fiscal Services (Public Debt) in Parkersburg with over 20 years of service. He was active in Pee Wee football in Williamstown and enjoyed golfing and the trips to the beach. Steve was a die-hard University of North Carolina fan and enjoyed spending time with his sister-in-law Angie Criss and her husband Andrew.

Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Linda (Britton) Radcliff, two children: Tracy Radcliff of Williamstown and Joe Radcliff of Parkersburg, brother David Radcliff (Louise) of Charleston, two grandchildren: Savannah and Christian Kerns, nieces and nephews: Cindy Ward (Dave), Jeff Radcliff and Stephanie Pettit and sister-in-law Marilyn Radcliff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Gene Radcliff, sister Mary Jo Dowler and brother-in-law Richard Dowler. Graveside services will be Sunday 1PM at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown with Pastor Todd Hill officiating.

Full military honors provided by American Legion Post 15, assisted by the Patriot Guard. Leavitt Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online guests may send condolences to the family by visiting www.
