Steve W. Woodby, age 73, of Telford, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born in Johnson City a son of the late Cecil and Daisy Roberts Woodby. He retired from General Motors, and also served in the National Guard.

Steve was a current member of Loyal Order of the Moose lodge 939, he was a past member of the Moose lodge in Michigan and he was Road Captain for the Long Riders in Michigan. He loved camping, hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. His Harley Davidson was his life.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Woodby. Steve W. Woodby leaves behind to cherish his memory: Wife of 55 years: Linda Woodby of the home; Children: Stephanie Fulks and husband George of Ypsilanti, MI; Melissa Smith and husband Bobby of Erwin; Michelle Beard and husband Kevin of Unicoi; Grandchildren: Ashley Fulks, Austin Fulks and Fiancé Amanda Hall, Bobby Smith III and wife Allison, Taylor Smith and Fiancé Gabe Kimery, Specialist Zack Beard and wife Abi, and Mikayla Beard; Great grandchildren: Aubree Jones and Kylie Kimery; Sisters: Katherine Oliver, Angila Dayton, and Connie Dayton; Several nieces and nephews; And special friends Roger Blankenship, Paul Ault, Brad Maupin, and Reggie Holms. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Steve W. Woodby in a funeral service to be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, February 11, 2019, in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Woodby officiating.

A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM and continue until service time on Monday. A graveside committal service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Those attending will meet at Valley Funeral Home by 12:00 noon to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Fulks, Austin Fulks, Specialist Zack Beard, Bobby Smith, Jr, Kevin Beard, Bobby Smith III, Gabe Kimery, and Brody Grindstaff. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and viewed at www.
