Steven’s Obituary Steven Mitchell Lepetich, 64, of Tempe, entered the Lord’s rest on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Steven was born October 29, 1954 to Robert and LaRue Lepetich, in Dayton, Ohio, and he later planted his roots in Tempe, Arizona. He was a beloved OB/GYN physician for the past 35 years, delivering over 18,000 babies in the Phoenix area.

Steven saw peace and comfort in the outdoors. He truly found Christ in nature and always sought to follow him. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He took every opportunity to minister to others, provide service and to share his love for the Savior. Steven’s true treasure in this world was his family. He was sealed to Shelley, his beloved wife of 42 years, for time and all eternity in the Mesa, Arizona Temple.

Together they lovingly welcomed 5 children and 15 grandchildren. Steve is survived by his wonderful wife, Shelley Lepetich; his children, Mitchell Robert Lepetich (Lexie), Ashley Marie Carlon (Derek), Clinton Ross Lepetich (Michelle), Brindy Lynn Arnett (Stephen), Romi Ann Rowley (Jason); Grandchildren, Cole Carlon, Caden Lepetich, Grant Carlon, Aubrey Lepetich, Jude Arnett, Marlee Lepetich, Sophie Arnett, Kinsley Lepetich, Nolan Lepetich, Weston Arnett, Briggs Lepetich, Reese Arnett, Tatum Lepetich, Teagan Lepetich, and Tessa Carlon; his mother, LaRue Lepetich; his sisters, Susan Kowalczyk (Chris) and Laura Diller (Steve); and his nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Friday, February 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1111 East Knox Road, Tempe 85284.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9th at 10:00 am, with a visitation one hour prior to the service, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1111 East Knox Road, Tempe 85284. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Steven Mitchell Lepetich to the LDS Humanitarian Fund. Memories and pictures of Steven may be shared with the family at SteveLepetichMemories@gmail.
