Obituary for Subenia Joan Speaks Valentine Subenia Joan Speaks Valentine, 71, of Aberdeen, NC, silently and peacefully yielded to the Lord and closed her eyes in death on Thursday, January 3, 2019 in the comfort of The Green’s at Pinehurst. She was born April 28, 1947 to the late Leroy Speaks and Gracie Fantin in Statesville, NC. A Celebration honoring her life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church – 624 Tennessee Street, Yadkinville, NC 27055.

The family visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. The family will greet and receive friends at that time. Subenia’s mortal frame shall lie in repose Friday, January 11, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Service, Winston-Salem Chapel for public viewing.
