Susan Brant, 75, of Carnegie, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 while in the company of family, at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh. Sue is formerly of Freeport. Susan was born in Natrona Heights on May 10, 1942.

She was the daughter of the late Martha C. (Lobaugh) and Addison W. Brant, Sr She had worked as a dietary aid at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot. , for 17 years.

Susan was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport. She enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her family and especially her grandkids Susan is survived by her two daughters, Tracy S.& Robert Lowerre, of Richmond, VA; Debbie L. & Mark Moses, of Pittsburgh. Her grandchildren: Matthew & Kaela Elcock, Madison R. Lowerre, Thomas C. Lowerre, Christopher W. Moses & Allison M. Moses Susan is also survived by her sister, Mary Lee & Thomas Nevitt, of Augusta, GA; two brothers, Robert W. Brant & Denise Geisler of South Buffalo Twp.

; Donald W. & Maxine Brant, of Mogadore, OH. and numerous nieces and nephews. Susan is preceded by her son, Michael R. Elcock.

Sister, Lynette Brant and her brother, Addison W. “Wayne” Brant, Jr. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 1st from 2-4 pm in the Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 524 High St. in Freeport. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday afternoon following the visitation in the funeral home with Pastor Shawn Smith officiating. Private family burial will be held in Freeport Cemetery Freeport, PA.
