Obituary for Terry G. Fark Terry G. Fark, 65, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, in Murphysboro. Terry was born May 17, 1952, in Centralia, IL, a son to the late Edwin H. and Gertrude E. (Tyberendt) Fark. He was united in marriage to Sandra J. McDonald on July 14, 1974, in Chicago, IL.

Sandra survives of Murphysboro. Terry was a retired educator and principal in the Lutheran Educational system; he was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carbondale and loved bringing the word of Christ to children. He was a lover of history and a life-long St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carbondale. Reverends Bob Gray and Jay Holden will officiate. Burial will follow services in Mt.

Joy Cemetery near Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 1, 2018, at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials are the preferred form of remembrance and may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church or to the donor’s choice.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra of Murphysboro; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Amanda and Mark Frazier of Springfield, MO, Allison and Darl Young of Carbondale, and Kelsey Fark of Murphysboro; one sister, Janet Wyland of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren, Hunter, Ryleigh, Anna and Ella Frazier, and Garrett Speith and Victoria Young.
