Obituary for Dimitri Berezow Dimitri Berezow, 91, of Murphysboro, passed away at 4:35 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018, in Carbondale. Dimitri, his wife, Sima, and their daughter Victoria came to the United States in 1950 from Germany after the Second World War. Dimitri Was born in Rostov, Russia in 1926.

Dimitri was retired from the former Lustour Corporation in Murphysboro where he had been employed as a pressman. Cremation has been accorded with private burial at Murdale Gardens of Memory in Murphysboro. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Ken Storer of Boise, ID; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Jane Berezow of Meridian, ID, and Alex and Eunice Berezow of Glendale, AZ; one granddaughter, Shelly Storer Shafer; two grandsons, Sean Storer, and Alex Brent Berezow; and two great-grandchildren, Ellie Shafer and Nick Shafer.
