Obituary for Theodore “Ted” J. Valeski Jr. Theodore “Ted” Joseph Valeski Jr. (59), of Quinnesec, passed away peacefully Tuesday night after being called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Ted, son of Theodore J. Valeski Sr. and Carol Valeski, was born on October 06, 1959 in Ishpeming, MI. Ted married Michelle (Meyers) Valeski in March of 1986, and had three children. He spent most of his working career as a firefighter in the Iron Mountain Fire Department.

Ted enjoyed reloading, target shooting, reading, traveling, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Most of all, Ted’s passion was his love for the Lord and the family finds peace and joy in the understanding that he is in heaven dancing with Jesus. Ted is survived by his wife, Michelle Valeski; his parents Carol and Theodore Valeski; his children Adam Valeski (Lindsey), Aimee Peters (John), and Andrew Valeski (Claire); his siblings Cindy Hellerstedt (Wayne), Michael Valeski (Dawn) and Ernest Valeski (Cherish); his 4 nephews, 2 nieces, and 8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 11th, from 12:00-3:00 pm at Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain, Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm at Redemption Hill Church in Kingsford.
