Thomas Lee Christensen, 66, passed away November 20, 2018 at Rain Tree Assisted Living from complications of Parkinson’s disease. Tom was born May 8, 1952 to Harvey and Norma Christensen in Worland, WY where he grew up and graduated from Worland High School in 1970. He worked for Admiral Beverage in Worland for several years.

In 1980 he transferred to Pleasant View, UT to help open their new facility, where he worked until 1996. He then worked at Mt. States Book Depository until his health caused him to retire.

His hobbies included woodworking, listening to music and reading. Tom married Teddie Clark on June 6, 1981, they later divorced in 1999. To this union was born their daughter, Sondra (Sonie) Lee Christensen, who was the light of his life.

He was a wonderful father. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved dog and best friend Bear. He is survived by his daughter Sonie of Clearfield, UT; his sisters Hedy Reynolds (Rich Shipman) of Fort Collins, CO; and Susan Christensen and her son Michael of Roswell, GA; and a dear family friend, Melissa Eldredge.

Tom adored his grandpups Sakki, Ava and Opal. At Tom’s request, there will be no service. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No.

Fairfield Road. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gladly accepted to offset final expenses.
