Graveside services for Thomas “Tommy” Ray Ainsworth Jr. , 63, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Jeremy Campbell and Bro. Ronnie Frankens officiating.

Mr. Ainsworth was born August 25,1955 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of Thomas Ray Ainsworth Sr. and Joyce (Modisette) Ainsworth, and died Sunday, May 26, 2019 in Tyler. Mr. Ainsworth was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.

Mr. Ainsworth loved to go to drag races and airshows to look at all of the planes and helicopters. He is survived by his wife, Karen Ainsworth of Lufkin; son, Trey Ainsworth of Lufkin; son, Clay Ainsworth of Wells; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Steven Thompson of Tyler; son, Austin Ainsworth of Woden; daughter, Leah Ainsworth of Woden; step-son, Bryan Skelton of Lufkin; step-daughter and husband, Lacey and Leslie Bell of Houston; step-son and wife, Jonathan and Sylvia Romo of Huntington; grandson and wife, Hunter and Hannah Ainsworth; grandsons, Kagen Ainsworth and Bailey Ainsworth; granddaughter, Kailey Ainsworth; step-grandson, Kamryn Skelton; step-granddaughters, Brylee Skelton, Ciera Jo Skelton, and Abigail Bell; great-grandson, Avery Ainsworth; great-granddaughter, Autumn Rayne Ainsworth; great-grandchild, Baby Ainsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Gina and Darrell Roberts of Diboll; fur babies, Kida Ray, Troubles, and Jellybean; parents, Thomas Ray Sr. and Joyce Ainsworth of Lufkin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herman and Sue Stone; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Neal McClendon, Billy Bennett, Don Crager, and Ronnie McMullen.
