Tim’s Obituary Timothy Pryor Garlen, 43, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born September 9, 1975 in Fayette County, KY, Tim was the son of the late Larry Pryor Garlen and Brenda Louise Giles Colston. Along with his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his wife, Mitsey Ann Barnett Garlen, his step-mother, Phyllis Jean Daniels Garlen and a half-brother, Russell Colston.

Tim was a graduate of Anderson County High School and worked as the Maintenance Supervisor for Eagle Lake Properties, LLC in Lawrenceburg. He enjoyed listening to music and socializing with his family and friends. Tim is survived by his daughter, Taylor Marie Henson of Nicholasville; two brothers, Drew (Stephanie) Garlen of Lawrenceburg and Matt (Amber) Garlen, of Frankfort; a sister, Amy Lynn Garlen of Frankfort; step brother, Michael (Peggy) Hays of Waynesburg; and step sister, Amanda Hays of Lawrenceburg; and nine nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 26th beginning at 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday from 10 AM – 1 PM. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Anderson County, KY.

A Celebration of Tim’s Life will follow the services beginning at 4:00 PM at the Eagle Lake Convention Center, 1008 Eagle Lake Drive, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342. Memorials are suggested to the Tim Garlen Memorial Fund, c/o Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, P.O. Box 730, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
