Obituary for Timothy Jon Bower Timothy Jon Bower, 34 of Lock Haven died unexpectedly at the Lock Haven Hospital on Friday, March 23, 2018. He was born at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville on August 6, 1983, the son of James M. Bower, Sr. and the Lisa J. Confer Bower who survive in Flemington. TJ graduated from Central Mountain High School in 2001 and attended Lock Haven University, and was an apprentice to his dad in tax preparation.

He worked with his brother-in-law at Workman’s Carpet Cleaning. TJ was selfless, and treated everyone with respect and kindness. He was the first one to offer the new kid a seat beside him in the cafeteria or to offer his loyal friendship to anyone.

TJ’s love of music started when he was very young. He watched MTV back in the days when they showed only music videos. He had numerous toy guitars that he always carried with him.

He taught himself to play rhythm guitar, bass guitar, and keyboard. He composed, played and sang his own songs. He was a natural musician.

He was a computer wiz, and whenever his mom had a computer problem, she said, “I’m going to call TJ, he can fix it”. Another of his favorite things was collecting and playing vintage computer games. He enjoyed playing Magic tournaments at Nerd Haven with his friends.

Because of his intelligence and sense of humor, any conversation with him was interesting and fun. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his best friend LeAnne Sayles, of Lock Haven, 2 sons, Joshua and Trenton Bower, of Middletown, MD, a daughter, Kassidy Turner, of Quakertown, 3 sisters, Kelly (Tommy) Workman, of Clintondale, Billie (Donnie) Renninger, of Rote, and Patty Geyer and her 2 sons, Joseph and Bryan, of Bellefonte, a brother, James, Jr. (Kelly), of Tennessee, a maternal grandmother, Connie Gettig, of Howard, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Althea Bower, of Flemington, and several aunts and uncles.
