Obituary for Mary Ellen Bradley Mary Ellen Kitchen Bradley, 71, of Avis passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at The Gatehouse Hospice at Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport. Born on April 26, 1946 in Bad Axe, Mich. , she was the daughter of Melvin Mulbarger and Verna A. Weaver-Kitchen.

Mary Ellen was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School. On May 2, 1969 she married Joseph G. Bradley who preceded her in death on July 3, 1998. Mary Ellen was employed at Woolrich in Avis for many years, in the office at Piper Aircraft, and finally at Northcentral Sight Services in Williamsport for 20 years until her retirement.

Starting in 1971, she attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mill Hall where she was active in going out in the ministry. Mary Ellen loved the outdoors and working in her flowerbeds. She also enjoyed playing cards and various games.

Most cherished, though, were the times she spent with her family and friends. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Charles Tibbens of Avis; four grandchildren: Brandon, Bradley and Marissa Tibbens and Kaitlyn Forsyth; and a great grandson, Chase Tibbens. She was proceeded in death by her mother and step-father, Verna A. Weaver-Kitchen and Leo Kitchen Jr.; her father, Melvin Mulbarger; her son, Mark Forsyth; and three siblings: Leah Anderson, Leo Kitchen, III and Gary Kitchen.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. at The Kingdom Hall, 1 Homestead Dr., Mill Hall. Private burial will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven. Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St. Flemington.
