Obituary for Shirley A. “Pat” Harpster Shirley A. “Pat” Harpster, 81, of Mill Hall passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Born on September 13, 1936 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Nevin Guy Dolan and Lillian Gertrude Boone Dolan Dreese. Pat was a graduate of Lock Haven High School.

She was married to Charles Edward “Short” Harpster who preceded her in death in 2000. Pat was well-known for her work as a seamstress. In her younger years, she could be found snowmobiling and riding her motorcycle.

Along with her mother and sister, Pat enjoyed bowling on two different bowling leagues. She was an avid card player. Traveling was one of her passions, especially camping and going on bus trips.

Whether attending archery shoots or just being in nature, Pat loved the outdoors. Surviving are three sons: Charles Edward “Charlie” Harpster, Jr. (Misty Handley) of Mill Hall, Nevin (Tina) Harpster of Mill Hall, and Mike (Lisa) Harpster of Woodland; a brother, Edward (Alice) Dolan of Rote; a sister, Judy (John) Heckman of Lock Haven; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Jacksonville Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 6 until 8 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
